Ever wish you could do something about the environment? Ever wish you could produce videos about the environment? Want to work towards global sustainability for future generations? Then Our Task’s internship is for you.
The Our Task (OT) internship program is an opportunity to THINK GLOBALLY and ACT LOCALLY. You will learn about a wide range of global sustainability issues and about WHAT YOU CAN DO! In addition to participating in environmental events, activities, and field trips, you will produce videos that will inspire, inform and promote environmental activism. You will strengthen your communications skills through video production training, on-camera appearances, and your own hands-on video projects. Your productions will be shown on the Our Task TV program, “News for Our Future (NfOF)”, YouTube, and other screening venues. Environmental experts and professionally trained mentors provide support.
You will participate in and contribute to the Earth 2100 Conference on the future of Earth.
The internship program is directed by Tania Kamal-Eldin, a well-established independent filmmaker with a passion for the environment. The summer training program runs 8 weeks for college and high school students, and academic credit may be available.
