OT In Action
Here are some actions you can take, activities to get involved in, and upcoming OT events.
Right Now
Advocate for a livable future, and become an OT Member. Sign Our Task’s Letter to Our Parents and Grandparents.
Share OT with people you know by printing a brochure or a handout on global outlooks.
Be an OT Representative on your campus or in your community, involving other youth and adults in OT discussions and actions in locations all over the world. To get help starting a group, please contact Maria, at maria[at]ourtask[dot]org. This program will be launched officially in the Spring.
December 2009
OT Makes a Virtual Trip to Copenhagen. This December, Madeline will be joining the International Youth Delegation and Project Survival Media at the COP 15 UN Climate Negotiations in Copenhagen. There, she will update OT on conference news through international youth coverage of the conference: videos, photos, and up-to-date blogs will be broadcast on youth and new media networks around the globe on a 24 hour news-feed. Madeline will post some of her personal updates, photos, and reflections on the OT blog. This is also a wonderful chance for OT bloggers to have access to a feed of live information regarding one of the most important global conferences this century. Leading up to the conference, we will get some OT writers accounts on some other youth blog sites, so they can cross-post with original news and link back to OT!
