Earth 2100 Conference
The young adults of Our Task are convening a five-year series of intergenerational conferences on how Earth and its many communities can be brought safely to the year 2100 and beyond.
The first conference is focused on the question “What’s the Plan?” The current plan is not working for us young people, so who has ideas for a “Plan B” that might bring us safely to 2100? What ideas do our biggest institutions have — The United Nations, World Bank, business corporations, spiritual institutions, educational institutions, and others? What changes are needed? What can young people do to help?
The “What’s the Plan?” conference will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012 in Arlington, Virginia, USA. It will be streamed worldwide on the Web for participation everywhere.
