What is “News for Our Future”?
“News for Our Future” (NfOF) is a TV news commentary program produced by Our Task in cooperation with Arlington Independent Media. It gives young adults a voice on global affairs and trains interested students and adults in news presentation and video production. The objective is to give young people more voice on issues that will shape their future and to build an audience for inter-generational dialog on important issues. The videos are presented on YouTube (5-10 minute episodes) or on “News for Our Future” (28 min. episodes broadcast locally on COMCAST-69, Verizon-38, Tuesdays at 5:30 pm and Saturdays at 4:00 pm and streamed nationally).
